We have updated Cooking Classes here at the Fat Tuscan.  Our schedule of interactive, in-house cooking classes will now focus on smaller class sizes.  With the enhanced smaller sizes our instruction will be more intimate for optimum learning opportunities for all our students.  This new format will also provide individual work stations with spacing for all materials & supplies.  We feel this is the best way to upgrade our Cooking Class Experience and allow for a clean & safe environment for all attending.    Our Class size is a maximum of 10 students at a time.  The Class Schedule will be updated every few months with new classes so that we can continue to monitor the situation with the Corona Virus and State Health Mandates regarding food service establishments.  (Please Note:  - All Gift Certificates issued for use during the 2020 year have been extended.  Anyone who signed up for a class before July 2020 that was canceled or you sent notice to us for non-attendance due to the Pandemic Crisis during the Quarantine has a Class Credit in our system and may attend another class or a rescheduled class in the future.  *Your credit will appear under the email address which purchased the class, call or email us to apply your credit. (We are sorry but no refunds are available at this time. Credits will be good until Dec. 2021)

Cooking Classes range from $50 to $75 per person per class unless otherwise stated and always include food tastings and snacks throughout the duration of every class.  Most classes also include a beverage of choice, Iced tea, soda or house sangria to enjoy during class. Some classes prepare a full meal which is consumed in class and or take-home food to enjoy at a later date.  Please see the details for each class below to plan accordingly. Each class discusses short-cuts, additions and techniques developed in the restaurant on all of our homemade recipes so note taking is always encouraged as well as an apron for use during the class experience.  Printed recipe are also given or emailed to each student of the class they attended.

  JANUARY 2021

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6TH – PASTA MAKING; MAKING GNOCCHI – 6PM TO 9PM – 10 MAX. STUDENTS (GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS, VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY & KID FRIENDLY)

Enjoy an evening learning to form and make fresh Potato Gnocchi from scratch.  (If you are Gluten Free and miss eating pasta this class is for you as we will have an option and instructions on making Gluten free Gnocchi’s as well as the regular recipe).  This cooking class will teach you how to make your own Gnocchi as the main course for your evening dinner and then we will cook each student’s fresh Gnocchi for them to enjoy with a choice of fresh made sauces.  There will be at least two different types of sauces to top the Gnocchi for students to choose from and the class instructor will be going over sauce preparation during the class.  Aprons are recommended as each student will be working with his/her own dough and is a hands-on cooking class. *Includes light beverages, cooking instruction and printed recipes.  ($50.00/per person, includes Gnocchi dinner.) *may bring your own bottle of wine if desired.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 7TH – PASTA MAKING; MAKING RAVIOLI – 6PM TO 9PM – 10 MAX. STUDENTS (VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY & KID FRIENDLY)

Enjoy an evening making fresh ravioli’s from scratch & then eat them all yourself! There is nothing more satisfying than rewarding yourself by eating the fruits of your own labors.  Each student will learn to make egg pasta dough from scratch & then learn to roll it out and hand form stuffed ravioli’s with an assortment of cheeses. The café will cook each individual’s ravioli’s for their dinner consumption as part of the class; several sauce options will be available.  This class is a hands-on class, so aprons are recommended.  *Includes light beverages or you may bring your own bottle of wine., cooking class instruction and printed recipes.  ($50.00/per person, includes ravioli dinner, cooking class instruction and printed recipes.  This is a hands-on type of class.)

FRIDAY, JANUARY 8TH  - WINTER SOUPS – 5:30PM TO 7:30PM – 10 MAX. STUDENTS

This class is All about Soups, so if you are a soup lover it is perfect for you.  With the cold setting in for us, soups make a perfect tasty meal to prepare as well as an healthy option for the new year. In this class we will be making soups from scratch using fresh ingredients and building flavors; stocks and soup flavors will be explored in this series. (some chopping and peeling will be required for this class, but majority of class will be observation of instructor, note taking and sampling/eating all prepared dishes).  *Includes light beverages, cooking instruction, all supplies and groceries as well as recipes of the dishes prepared in class to take home and an evening meal of three types of soups. *May bring your own bottle of wine to share. ($50.00/per person, includes meal of soups served with toasted bread, light beverages and recipes to take home.)

This Chef led Cooking Class is all about wines and wine pairings.  The Class will explore a multiple coursed dinner that is prepared by our house chef fresh and in front of the class with discussion throughout each course.  The chef will also feature the selected wines in each course as it is paired with the dishes for the evening.  This is a great date night or fun night out with friends eating great food and drinking even better wines.  Tastings, dinner and chef instruction prepared by Chef/Owner Michelle Gioviti-Reeves from the Fat Tuscan.  Each course will be selected to perfectly complement the wines that you will be presented. This class is for students who love wine and good food and for students wishing to learn more about wine.  Includes a full coursed dinner with wine pairing tastings (*Observation Type Class - $75.00/per person – includes dinner, class instruction and wine tastings.) 

THURSDAY, JANUARY 14TH - PASTRIES, CREAM PUFFS & ÉCLAIRS CLASS – 5PM TO 8PM -  10 STUDENTS MAX. *This class is now full. 

Join us at this evening class exploring all things Pastries!  Learn to pipe, make and fill delicate pastries baked in class.  Recipes will include vanilla pastry cream, chocolate Mousse, and Vanilla whipped cream as well as the recipe for creating Cream Puffs and Éclairs.  This will be a hands-on class with some detailed work required such as piping and filling warm delicate pastries.  Each student will go home with an assorted mix of pastries, so a container is recommended for the finished pastries to be taken home. FRIDAY, JANUARY 15TH – HEALTHY COOKING WITH FRESH HERBS - 5:30PM TO 8PM  - 10 MAX. STUDENTS

This class is perfect for beginner cooks who don’t know their way around using fresh herbs and spices in dishes to create healthy bold, flavorful dishes.  Students will learn about the health benefits of different herbs used in class as well as how to create different dishes and spice them accordingly.  Details and information on stocking your home kitchen with fresh herbs will also be discussed.  This class will be mostly observation and note taking is encouraged.  All food prepared in class will be consumed by students.  3 different types of recipes will be prepared in class and consumed by class so come hungry.  This is mainly an observation type class with some minor chopping involved.  Note taking is encouraged. *Some dietary restriction can be accommodated such as Vegetarian & Gluten free – please mention in details at registration if requesting.   ($50.00/per person, includes all food prepared in class, and beverages.)

SUNDAY, JANUARY 17TH  -  CITRUS PRESERVING (CURDS, CANDIED PEELS AND SALTED PRESERVED)  - 11AM TO 1:30 – 10 MAX. STUDENTS SIGN UP. (VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY)

Enjoy an afternoon with Michelle, Chef and Owner of the Fat Tuscan, for a class on how to preserve the fresh abundant Citrus currently ripening in our area.  December and January are the months that this wonder fruit typically matures and our trees are all hanging full and low with sweet tangy fruit. And so, makes perfect timing to hold our Citrus Preserves Class. If you have some trees we would love you to bring some to class to share as they have the best flavor.  In this class learn about Salt & Sugar preserving.  We will be reviewing methods and types of traditional preserving as well as making an assortment of Citrus Preserves such as Candied Orange peel, Country Lemons (Preserved Lemons), and Lemon Curd.  This class is a hands-on class, so aprons are recommended.  *Includes light beverages, supplies, canning jars, cooking class instruction, ingredients and printed recipes for students to take home. ($50.00/per person, includes all materials, groceries, cooking class instruction and printed recipes.  This is a hands-on type of class.)

SUNDAY, JANUARY 24TH - HERB BREAD & YEAST DOUGH – WORKING WITH BREAD -   10 Students Max.  11:00AM to 2pm  - This class is now full. 

Explore making bread from scratch and learn how to work with yeast dough’s in this class.  Students will also learn to mix dough’s with fresh herbs to create different types of formed bread dough’s such as baguette’s, braids and filled breads.  Students will learn how to combine ingredients, knead and rise yeast doughs to create savory breads. This hands-on class provides all the raw ingredients and one-on-one instructions on bread making are covered.  Each student will work at his/her own station and work with their own dough. Rising time and working the dough will be discussed.  Bread will be baked in class and each student will go home with their baked breads.  Aprons are recommended for this class as each student will be working with substantial amounts of flour and a baking sheet is preferred for transportation home.  ($50.00 per person, includes light beverages & snacks as well as cooking instructions and recipes.  This is a hands-on type of class.) *Kids are welcome in this class.   FEBRUARY 2021

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD – Tiramisu Class; Learn to Create this Classic Italian Dessert – 11AM TO 1PM – 10 STUDENTS MAX.

This class will cover the classic favorite Italian Dessert known as Tiramisu.  It uses layers of sweetened cream including mascarpone, which is an Italian type of whipped cream specifically for Tiramisu.  In this class all the ingredients for creating and layering an individual Tiramisu will be provided as well as an instruction on what makes the best types of cookies to layer with as well as types of soaking for the cookies.  *Please bring a Ceramic or glass square or rectangular dish that is about 9 inches by 9 inches and at least two inches deep OR an 8 to 9 inch spring form pan.   ($50.00/per person, includes class instructions, ingredients, tools and equipment as well as printed recipes.  This class will also include a fresh Tiramisu to be taken home and chilled, please bring a glass square/rectangular baking sheet that can be refrigerated.)

Join us for a fun Sunday Brunch of fresh buttery crepes filled and topped with your choice of a variety of ingredients and toppings.  We will learn to make both sweet and savory crepes in the class and each student will flip and form his/her own crepes.  This is a perfect time to enjoy a morning brunch served with mimosa’s and Bellini’s as well as a full brunch buffet of fresh baked foods alongside the class.  Students will learn to make, form and flip crepes in this class with each student making and flipping their own crepes.  Assorted toppings, stuffing’s and condiments will be available to fill the crepes.  A Brunch buffet will also be available for students to eat with the crepes.  The class consists of some observation and some hands-on to learn technique. *kids welcome.  ($50.00/per person, includes class instructions and a full brunch of crepes and side dishes.  This will be a hands-on type of class.)  *This class is now sold out.

Valentines Cooking Class Coursed Dinner - 6pm to 8:30pm  - 10 students max. per evening (Sign up first come, first serve.) $100.00 per person  

Enjoy a romantic evening of local gourmet food and participate in an interactive cooking class as well. We will teach you how to make your own Gnocchi for the Pasta course of the evening and then sit back and enjoy the rest of the dinner for a romantic candle lit evening featuring the best local foods prepared fresh for you on the evening of the event. The Menu will consist of an interactive appetizer course for Tomato Basil Bruschetta, followed by an observation of the chef for the evening making a fresh champagne vinaigrette for a salad course.  An interactive pasta lesson for Potato Gnocchi will be taught as the main course with a choice of sauces. The final course will be a lesson on making and then stuffing individual cannoli’s.  All courses will be enjoyed during class for a fun evening of cooking.  The class consists of some observation and some hands-on to learn technique. ($100.00/per person, includes class instructions and a full coursed meal of appetizer, salad, pasta and dessert. Do you love making desserts?  Have you been a customer who loved our light and fluffy Ricotta style cheesecakes?  This is the perfect class for those students that love to bake, or who find desserts frustrating.  Our customers loved our cheesecakes when our café was open and their light and fluffy texture was the key to their success.  This class will go over the Ricotta Cheesecake recipes developed by the Fat Tuscan chef and each student will be making an individual cheesecake to take home.   The chef will prepare a cheesecake in class and teach students to make a cake as well.  (A chilled Cheesecake made in advance will also be eaten by students at the end of class to show desired texture and outcome)  (*Individual baking will be done at home.  *Students need to bring an 8 or  9 inch spring form pan.  *all ingredients will be provided by Fat Tuscan however.) ($50.00/per person, includes all ingredients to prepare an individual cheesecake as well as take home recipes for each student. Come out and enjoy a fun night learning to make fresh pasta’s from scratch with your choice of flavoring for your pasta.  This class will also include a demonstration of the instructor teaching and making a fresh pesto sauce & a variety of Creamy sauces during the length of the class.  Then cook, eat and dine on your fresh pasta you made with a choice of the sauces made for you in the class.  This class will explore using flavorings in pasta where students will learn to make either a tomato, spinach or butternut squash flavored pasta from scratch.   MARCH 2021

WEDNESDAY,  MARCH 3RD  – BREAD CLASS – WORKING WITH WET YEAST DOUGH’S - 10 Students Max.  1:30pm to 5pm

Explore working with wet yeast dough’s in this class.  Each student will work with two types of dough, both a savory & sweet bread Dough.  Students will learn how to combine ingredients, knead and rise yeast dough’s to create a savory dough and a sweet nut & fruit bread.  This hands-on class provides all the raw ingredients and one-on-one instructions on bread making are covered.  Each student will work at his/her own station and work with their own dough. Rising time and working the dough will be discussed.  One bread will be baked in class and each student will go home with their baked bread and some dough to bake at a later time.  Aprons are recommended for this class as each student will be working with substantial amounts of flour.  ($50.00 per person, includes light beverages & snacks as well as cooking instructions and recipes.  This is a hands-on type of class.) *Kids are welcome in this class. **Bring a container for transporting the 2nd yeast dough home.

THURSDAY,  MARCH 4TH – PIZZA NIGHT – MAKING FRESH PIZZA FROM SCRATCH  – 6PM TO 8PM .  10 MAX. STUDENTS - *This class is now sold out. 

Join us for an evening of fun learning to make homemade Pizza from scratch. We will learn how to make pizza sauce and dough from scratch. Each student will work at individual stations to learn to make a dough from flour and yeast and how to rise it.  Afterwards each students has a dough of their own to shape and then top with fresh assorted items.  A full toppings bar will be provided by the Café of fresh assorted pizza toppings such as fresh spinach, grilled onions, pesto, cheeses, meats, etc.  And, then we will bake each pie for the student to consume at the end of class.  Aprons are recommended as this is a hands-on class AND dinner all in one; bring an apron and an appetite. This class is all about fun and cooking together.  In this hands-on cooking class challenge, couples will cook and prepare two appetizers paired with wine followed by two desserts paired with wines.  This class will also explore multiple types of wines paired with each course prepared by the students. The Chef instructor will provide a observation for each course for assistance in the preparing and cooking of the courses. Each student will work at individual stations to learn to make a dough from flour and yeast and how to rise it.  Afterwards each students has a dough of their own to shape and then top with fresh assorted items.  A full toppings bar will be provided by the Café of fresh assorted pizza toppings such as fresh spinach, grilled onions, pesto, cheeses, meats, etc.  And, then we will bake each pie for the student to consume at the end of class.  Aprons are recommended as this is a hands-on class AND dinner all in one; bring an apron and an appetite. This class is all about fun and cooking together.  In this hands-on cooking class, couples will cook and prepare an meal for the evening for them to enjoy.  The class will start out teaching the art of making the perfect Bruschetta for an appetizer and then move on to teaching how to prepare and make fresh egg pasta from scratch.  The instructor will also cover how to make fresh pasta sauce for two different pasta sauces to top the pasta for the evening.  Each paired couple will have a separate station to work from and will include all the supplies, ingredients and groceries needed to prepare the meal for the evening.  This is a great date night or fun night out with your best friend and feel free to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy while you cook.  Tastings, recipes, ingredients and chef instruction is provided from the Fat Tuscan. ($50.00 per person, includes all groceries, supplies, class instruction & printed recipes to take home as well as an full evening meal.)  Aprons recommended. *hands on type of class.  *Vegetarian Friendly   *This class is now Full. 

SATURDAY, MARCH 13TH – Scones, Biscuits & Shortbread; Baking Cooking Class – 11am TO 1:30pm  - 10 Students Max.

In this Saturday morning class learn to make Classic Scones, Flakey Biscuits and Buttery Shortbread.  Each student will work with three types of Butter dough’s learning to properly mix, knead, and form these tender breads with one-on-one instruction by the chef.  Baking will also be part of this class and each student will be returning with an assortment of baked items, so a container is recommended and/or a sheet pan to transport home.  Students will work at individual stations and be provided all the necessary supplies, ingredients, groceries, and utensils needed to prepare the day’s recipes. ($50.00 per person, includes printed recipes, supplies, ingredients, class instruction as well as tastings/samples in class and take-home baked items prepared in class.) WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24TH – Tiramisu Class; Learn to Create this Classic Italian Dessert – 5:30PM TO  7:30PM – 10 STUDENTS MAX.

This class will cover the classic favorite Italian Dessert known as Tiramisu.  It uses layers of sweetened cream including mascarpone, which is an Italian type of whipped cream specifically for Tiramisu.  In this class all the ingredients for creating and layering an individual Tiramisu will be provided as well as an instruction on what makes the best types of cookies to layer with as well as types of soaking for the cookies.  *Please bring a Ceramic or glass square or rectangular dish that is about 9 inches by 9 inches and at least two inches deep OR an 8 to 9 inch spring form pan.   ($50.00/per person, includes class instructions, ingredients, tools and equipment as well as printed recipes.  This class will also include a fresh Tiramisu to be taken home and chilled, please bring a glass square/rectangular baking sheet that can be refrigerated.)

This class will explore making fresh pasta from scratch using egg, flour and oil as well as learning to make a fresh sauce to pair with the pasta. THURSDAY, APRIL 1ST – ALL ABOUT PIES  – 6PM TO  8:30pm  -  10 Students Max.

Join us for this evening class and learn to make PIES!  Each student will make two pie doughs from scratch. One dough will be taken home to use later and one pie dough will be used in class for the student to make one full pie to bake at home later.  This is a perfect class to take if you want to explore making butter dough pie crusts.  Each student will make a butter pie dough from scratch and then fill it with an assortment of fillings to choose from such as Chocolate, lemon, Apple, and Pumpkin.   (*Each student needs to bring one 8” or 9” inch GLASS PIE PANS & a Cookie Sheet to transport Hot Pie’s home. - Pies can be taken home to be baked later or in class which will take a minimum of 45 minutes from end of class.)  Aprons are recommended as this is a hands-on class and you will be working with flour.  (Hands on class - $50.00/per person, includes all groceries, supplies, class instruction and printed recipes.  Snacks will also be provided as well as some tastings during this class.) *Children are welcome.

This class will be a night of making soups from scratch, using fresh ingredients and building flavors as we create several types of soups from creamy bisques to warm hearty stews to some light summer soups.  A small Wine tasting will be paired with each soup presented as a compliment to the soups.  A total of three soups will be prepared and eaten in class served with our toasted Tuscan Bread.  There may be some chopping and peeling and or working at group stations to create soups for this class as well as a majority of the class will be observation of instructor so note taking and sampling/eating all prepared dishes will be the main participation from students.  This class is perfect for the person who loves soups and wants more recipes and suggestions for creating soups at home.  Recipes of dishes will be available to all students. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21ST - MAKING BISCOTTI, ASSORTED FLAVORS – 5:30PM TO 8PM -  10 Students Max.  

In this cooking class students will learn to create an Italian favorite traditional Cookie known as Biscotti.  Each student will mix and measure their own batch of dough with various toppings and ingredients available to choose from for flavorings such as almonds, walnuts, dried fruits such as cherries and cranberries as well as assorted types of chocolate morsels, etc.  Students may choose to split their dough’s to make several different types to have an assortment to take home and enjoy.  Printed recipes will be given to each student and a discussion on techniques and instruction demonstration for making the dough from scratch will be given in class. This class is a hands-on class and each student will be handling and making their own dough’s.  It is recommended that each student have an apron as well as a container to take home the cookie’s they make in class.  Samples of desserts will be eaten in class as the demonstration portion.  (*Hands on type class - $50.00/per person, includes all ingredients, supplies, class instruction and printed recipes for each student. THURSDAY, APRIL 22ND – Sweet Breads & Brioche Bread – 5:30PM TO 8PM -  10 Students Max.

In this cooking class day workshop students will be working with Brioche Dough.  This is an original recipe dough that the café has developed to make both savory rolls and sweet dessert breads.  Each student will learn to make Onion Ricotta Brioche Rolls & Sweet Chocolate Chip Buns.  Please bring two Cookie Sheets/Baking Sheets to class.  We will learn the ways to form, make a wet sponge from yeast and stuff them and form them with assorted fillings. A rolling pin is recommended as well for this class, but one can also be provided for you if needed.  Printed recipes will be given to each student and a discussion on techniques and instructions for the dough and forming the dough will be given.  This class is a hands-on class where each student will be handling and making their own bread dough’s from scratch.  Aprons are recommended.  Samples of breads will be eaten in class.  Please bring a sheet pan to rise your breads on and/or for baking.  **Kids welcome.  ($50.00/ Per Person includes all supplies, class instruction, light snacks, tastings and recipes to take home.)

Enjoy an evening learning to form and make fresh Potato Gnocchi from scratch.  This cooking class will teach you how to make your own Gnocchi as the main course for your evening dinner.  But first we will start with a demonstration for making one of the Italians favorite appetizer – Tomato Basil Bruschetta.  We will provide each Couple with a DIY Bruschetta board and all the things needed to create your very own appetizer.  Instructions on making Gnocchi follows and then we  cook each student’s fresh Gnocchi for them to enjoy with a choice of fresh made sauces for their evening meal.  There will be at least two different types of sauces to top the Gnocchi for students to choose from and the class instructor will be going over sauce preparation during the class.  Aprons are recommended as each student will be working with his/her own dough and is a hands-on cooking class. *Includes light beverages, cooking instruction and printed recipes.  ($50.00/per person, includes Gnocchi dinner.) *may bring your own bottle of wine if desired. *THIS CLASS IS NOW SOLD OUT.

Mother's Day High Tea Brunch and Cooking Class - Come enjoy a High Tea Brunch served in our courtyard with mom.  Starting at 11am we will be serving everything from scones and biscuits to eggs with mini cucumber sandwiches on English tiered towers for your enjoyment.  Included of course with assorted hot teas, complimentary mimosa's & sangria's for you and mom to enjoy.  Then beginning at 12:30 we will have a group cooking class and presentation for Making Homemade Tarts.  This will be a hands-on class in which each student will learn to make and form a Tart and fill it as well as decorate the tart with lattice work and design.  The instructor will prepare a Tart dough from start to finish in class, and tart dough will be provided to each student to make their own individual tart. * A tart pan will be provided to use and take home as a gift at the end of the class. Do you love making desserts?  Have you been a customer who loved our light and fluffy Ricotta style cheesecakes?  This is the perfect class for those students that love to bake, or who find desserts frustrating.  Our customers loved our cheesecakes when our café was open and their light and fluffy texture was the key to their success.  This class will go over the Ricotta Cheesecake recipes developed by the Fat Tuscan chef and each student will be making an individual cheesecake to take home.   The chef will prepare a cheesecake in class and teach students to make a cake as well.  (A chilled Cheesecake made in advance will also be eaten by students at the end of class to show desired texture and outcome)  (*Individual baking will be done at home.  *Students need to bring an 8 or  9 inch spring form pan.  *all ingredients will be provided by Fat Tuscan however.) ($50.00/per person, includes all ingredients to prepare an individual cheesecake as well as take home recipes for each student. Come enjoy an evening flipping and making crepes.  We will be learning all the savory and sweet recipes for using this delicate and delicious food as well as eating all the food we make.  Students will learn to make, form and flip crepes in this class with each student making and flipping their own crepes.  Assorted toppings, stuffing’s and condiments will be available to fill the crepes to make different types of crepes such as an appetizer crepe, an entrée crepe & an sweet dessert crepe.  This class consists of some observation as well as hands-on techniques to learn how to form, cook and flip crepes. In this afternoon class students will learn how to make the Classic Italian flat bread know as Focaccia Bread.  Focaccia is an Olive Oil laden style bread that is eaten on its own, split in half for sandwiches or as thick pizza crust.  In this class, students will learn to create their own dough using flour, yeast and olive oil creating a type of wet yeast dough.  Rising times, shaping and baking will be included in the class.  Students will also have choices on flavorings such as herbs or sweet toppings to create a savory or sweet style bread of choice.  Class will include all ingredients, supplies and class instruction by the chef including printed recipes for each student.  Students are recommended to bring a ¼ Sheet pan or a baking pan with a slight lip to rise and bake the flat bread.  ($50.00 per Person, includes groceries, supplies, bread tastings, chef lead class instruction.) *Aprons recommended.  *Kids Welcome. 

WEDNESDAY, MAY 26th – MAKING LASAGNA COOKING CLASS – 5:30 to 8PM – 10 Students Max.

Join us on this Wednesday before the Memorial Day weekend making Lasagna as a quick meal to serve for your Holiday. In this hands on class students will participate in making different sauces from scratch such as a basil marinara & a white Cream Sauce, Bechamel.  These sauces will then be used to build the best gourmet lasagna ever – ‘it’s all about the ingredients!’  Students will learn tips on how to assemble their own lasagna for consumption later. Each student will go home with a Lasagna to cook at home that will feed up 4 to 6 adults. All stuffing ingredients will be provided for the students as well as vegetarian and meat options.  This is a perfect class to get ready for Thanksgiving as there is nothing better than having a homemade Lasagna ready to pop in the oven for all that Holiday Company.  *Please Bring a Glass or Ceramic rectangular Lasagna Baking Dish (about 3 to 4 quarts) **Aprons are recommended. Summer 2021 Kids Cooking Camp  - (NOW FULL)

The Fat Tuscan Cooking School offers students the most comprehensive Cooking Camp in Florida.  Our students get all day one-on-one experience from experienced chefs and work in a real kitchen preparing recipes.  With our hands-on learning approach we encourage each student to prepare recipes and meals for themselves and their families.  This camp is perfect for the kid who is excited about learning to cook and wants experience in the kitchen.  We provide each one of our small week long camps with the opportunity for students to feel engaged and comfortable working with food.  Our approach to learning about cooking is from working with our hands and our passions to enjoying the creativity of cooking as it nourishes a child from the inside out.  Cooking is way to learn positive self esteem and encourages learning through cooking.  There are always lots of laughs and love in our camp kitchen and we encourage learning through tactile engagement and hands on approaches to build self esteem, it is a strength which can build into many areas of a child’s development as well as learning through the act of doing and performing.

Summer 2021 Kids Cooking Camp  - NOW FULL 

The Fat Tuscan Cooking School offers students the most comprehensive Cooking Camp in Florida.  Our students get all day one-on-one experience from experienced chefs and work in a real kitchen preparing recipes.  With our hands-on learning approach we encourage each student to prepare recipes and meals for themselves and their families.  This camp is perfect for the kid who is excited about learning to cook and wants experience in the kitchen.  We provide each one of our small week long camps with the opportunity for students to feel engaged and comfortable working with food.  Our approach to learning about cooking is from working with our hands and our passions to enjoying the creativity of cooking as it nourishes a child from the inside out.  Cooking is way to learn positive self esteem and encourages learning through cooking.  There are always lots of laughs and love in our camp kitchen and we encourage learning through tactile engagement and hands on approaches to build self esteem, it is a strength which can build into many areas of a child’s development as well as learning through the act of doing and performing.

FULL DAY SUMMER PROGRAMS 

WEEK #2 - July 26th to July 30th - 2021 - THIS WEEK IS NOW FULL

COOKING IN TUSCANY - EUROPEAN COOKING CLASS & TOUR

Tour - Postponed - possible 2022 dates pending for now.  

- 8 students max. (4 Couples)

This amazing Cooking Class will be a wonderful week long stay in the heart of Tuscany Italy staying in the middle of the olive groves and countryside.  Each couple will be located at a small Bnb which once was an old grain mill and with Cooking Classes taking place each night at the home of an traditional Italian family.  The Cooking Class Vacation includes 8 night stay in a B&B, transportation, breakfast, Excursion Lunches & Cooking Class Dinners.  There will be 6 nights of cooking class instruction, 6 days of excursions to small little medieval towns amongst the hills of Tuscany and a full time chef and interpreter during your week stay.  The classes and your accommodations will take place in a small village about one hour from Florence Italy near Arezzo. 

**This is an small class size of 4 couples (8 student’s total) to continue our consisteant service for small intimate Classes.   Pricing based on per couple $4500.00 -All Inclusive: Cooking Classes, Week Stay at B&B, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, Transportation & Tour guide. Typically our classes are kept small to ensure an intimate experience for each of our students.  We provide beverages and bread with oil at most of our classes for our students to consume during class instruction.  Classes will close once the maximum number of students have signed up. *Gift Certificates good for one year from purchase date, afterwhich must be updated yearly before expiration date or they become voided in our system.  Please have the Email address used to purchase gift certificate available.  

Gift Certificates can be applied to all classes above unless specified.
