Our private group cooking classes are the perfect interactive event for corporate team building. Cooking together naturally breaks down barriers, offering an ideal setting for team bonding and socializing. Choose from a variety of cooking class experiences tailored to your group’s unique needs.

Hands On Cooking Classes

Our “Hands-On” Classes invite students to actively participate in preparing their own meals from start to finish. Perfect for fun events with friends or as a team-building and socializing experience, these classes provide a full meal of the prepared dish and recipes to take home. Pricing includes class instruction, all supplies, equipment, utensils, groceries, an appetizer, and light beverages. Students are encouraged to bring their own aprons or enhance their experience by purchasing Fat Tuscan aprons from us.

  • Tarts and Butter Dough’s – requires an extra $8 per person to accommodate a Take Home Tart Pan for each student to take home as a gift and their finished tart.
  • Making Tiramisu – requires an extra $8 per person to accommodate a Take Home Spring Form Pan for each student.

  • Appetizers & Wine –requires an extra $25 per person to accommodate wines (4/5 different types will be sampled and tasted in this class by students) [can be Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free friendly]

Observation & Chef Demonstration Cooking Class

Observation-type cooking classes focus on watching as a chef prepares multiple courses, providing instruction and discussion throughout. Typically, up to three courses are served, making it a full meal cooked in front of your group. Enjoy the courses as they are prepared, with the chef discussing the recipes and techniques. This experience includes a three-course meal with beverages and a cooking demonstration. Note-taking is encouraged, and we can accommodate dietary restrictions such as vegetarian or gluten-free options for individual groups.

Corporate Challenges/ Team Building Challenges

The Corporate Challenge adds a four-part team-based task challenge to any class.
  • Corporate Challenges/Team Building Challenges add an additional $35 per person to the base price.
  • Cake Boss or ‘Nailed It’: Teams compete to decorate a themed cake or create the best look-alike themed animal cake.
  • Pasta Wars: Teams compete to make different types of pasta, such as ravioli, fettuccine, gnocchi, and tortellini. Teams will then enjoy their finished projects with assorted sauces at the end of the class.
  • Iron Chef – Appetizers & Desserts: Teams compete to make various appetizers and desserts, offering small tastings of each throughout the night. Each team serves appetizer tastings to the entire group, competing in taste, appearance, and presentation to win “Iron Chef” status.

Class Details

  • Must be booked on an open date in our reservation book. Suggested available dates will be discussed during planning. Deposits are required to hold and book a date for your group.
  • 50% of expected guest count (Deposit Amount Due). Used to hold the date and time of your event, which marks it off availability in our master calendar and reserves it exclusively for you and your guests; final balance due at the time of the event.
  • Includes all supplies, groceries, equipment, and utensils needed to create the desired recipe(s) for the class.
  • Face-to-face class instruction from our Chef and personal interaction with our staff for aid during all of our classes.
  • Recipes from the class are provided for students to take home or sent via email to valid email addresses.
  • Classes may include a full meal or tastings of the prepared recipes, as well as grilled herb Tuscan bread for snacks.
  • A complimentary beverage of soda, tea, or coffee is offered to all students.
  • At times, our classes may include one complimentary glass of house sangria; proper I.D. required.
  • We offer a variety of wine and beer for purchase, with additional beverages available a la carte (wine and beer available); proper I.D. required.
  • Classes take from 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours depending on the speed of individual students and/or meal preparation (3-hour event max. time frame).
  • Per person pricing includes up to 3 hours of exclusive use of our café space for class events. Only you and your guests will be using the space during private classes.

How To Reserve Your Spot

Email us at fattuscancafe@gmail.com to check available dates on our calendar and to request a formal quote with a deposit invoice for reservation. Our calendar fills up quickly, so we recommend reserving your date as soon as possible. A 50% deposit is required to secure the space, date, and time for your event. (*All dates remain open until a deposit is received.)
