The cafe offers a beautifully restored Historic setting with Lion Fountain Courtyard as a venue for all specialty events such as Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Engagements, Small Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Graduations and Private Dinner Mixers. Small and intimate events are our specialty so book your next special occasion with us!
Our warm and rich character is a great setting for intimate gatherings for any occasion. Reserve an afternoon or evening and get the entire café just for your event. We can accommodate all your wishes and our catering menu is unlimited for private events!
As part of what we offer here at the Fat Tuscan our main amenity is that every event comes with exclusive private rental of the cafe space for just you and your guests. Added to this, we have private on-property parking with additional available on-street free parking located in front of the Cafe on Northeast 1st Street. Our cafe has a large list of music we play to add background music to all our events and is played throughout the cafe on our sound system during your event. We have access to hook-up for indoor or outdoor electricity for things such as musicians and/or presentations, projectors and slideshows. Every event offers free WiFi during our events. Cafe catering & rental comes equipped with the use of our tables and chairs made of solid hardwood design for you and your guests use. The fully furnished brick courtyard with Lion Fountain has outdoor chairs and tables made of solid Iron for event use as well. (Weather permitting). For our outdoor evening events we have overhead string lights and Citronella candles illuminating our courtyard. We cater to all our events with the availability to add small personal touches for every occasion such as fresh wildflower arrangements, crystal tea light votives, linen napkins and areas above our antique fireplace mantels to set out personal items for personal décor. Catered events include the use of our small in-house stocked dinner ware of fiesta ware plates/cups in jewel colors or pure white dinnerware serving plates for meal courses. All tableware, such as silverware, linen napkins and stemware are included for catered events booked at the Cafe. And, our catering menus and options are produced in-house by our cafe chef, which not only means excellent quality, but also the ability to easily cater to special menu’s and dietary restricted menus for any occasion.
