HANDS-ON CLASS – BAKING CLASS – VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY – KID FRIENDLY
Get ready for autumn in this fun cooking class workshop where students will learn prepare scones from scratch. Alongside the scones will be a silky, flavorful butternut squash soup prepared from scratch by our owner and Chef, Michelle Gioviti. Perfectly balanced with aromatics, warm spices, and a touch of cream, each student will make a batch of buttery scones to pair with the soup for lunch and take leftover scones home to share. You’ll work at your own station, while also mastering the proper technique for mixing and shaping tender scone dough.
Flavors and fillings will be available for customizing your scones (apple, cinnamon, pumpkin, and cheeses, etc.)
All ingredients, supplies, and equipment are provided. Each student will go home with printed recipes and a selection of baked scones. Lunch will be provided with a choice of beverage.
$85.00 per person, includes instruction, ingredients, supplies, printed recipes, tastings, and lunch. Aprons are recommended.
Work a day with Chef/Owner Michelle Gioviti learning the basics for making scones. Students will learn and apply kitchen basics and cooking techniques. This class will be limited in spots so that one on one training and teaching can be offered to every student. We will demonstrate techniques and cooking skills for you to execute on your own and have a question-and-answer period throughout the class. This class series is for students who are curious about baking & and working with delicate doughs and would like to improve their culinary skills. *Food safety, sanitation, kitchen navigation rules, and organization will apply.
