Join us on the Monday evening of Christmas week and to kick off your Christmas holiday in the spirit by learning to make a fresh warm pie! Its the perfect baked item of the holiday to have on hand for company or even to bring to a holiday celebration with friends. This class is for anyone who wants to bring a freshly made pie to their holiday meal to impress everyone. Students will learn the process for make fresh pie dough from scratch, rolling it out, filling it and creating lattice work for the top. Each student will make their own pie dough from scratch using a butter dough recipe. The fresh pie dough will then be used in class for the student to make one full pie to bake at home later. This is a perfect class for learning to make pies for the upcoming holiday season. Students will have a few different options for fillings such as Fruit, Chocolate, Apple and Pumpkin. (*Each student needs to bring one 8” or 9” inch GLASS PIE PANS & a Sheet pan to transport the pie home. The pies will be taken home to be baked that evening or even at a later date.) Aprons are recommended as this is a hands-on class. $65.00 per person, includes all groceries, supplies, chef class instruction and printed recipes. Snacks will also be provided as well as some tastings during this class. Children are welcome.
