Hands on Class – Kid Friendly – Vegetarian Friendly *Please bring a 8 or 9 inch glass or ceramic pie dish.
Join us the evening before the Thanksgiving holiday and learn to make the perfect Pie! This class is for anyone who wants to bring a freshly made pie to their holiday meal to impress everyone. Students will learn the process for make fresh pie dough from scratch, rolling it out, filling it and creating lattice work for the top. Each student will make their own pie dough from scratch using a butter dough recipe. The fresh pie dough will then be used in class for the student to make one full pie to bake at home later. This is a perfect class prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday or for learning to make pies for the upcoming holiday season around the corner. Students will have a few different options for fillings such as Chocolate, Apple and Pumpkin. (*Each student needs to bring one 8” or 9” inch GLASS PIE PANS. The pies will be taken home to be baked at a later date.) Aprons are recommended as this is a hands-on class. $65.00 per person, includes all groceries, supplies, chef class instruction and printed recipes. Snacks will also be provided as well as some tastings during this class. Children are welcome.
