This class is All about Soups, so if you are a soup lover it is perfect for you. Soups always make a perfect tasty meal to prepare as well as an healthy option most times. Students work with the chef, who chooses 3 different types of soups, to create an afternoon of soups to enjoy for lunch. In this class we will be making soups from scratch using fresh ingredients and building flavors; stocks and soup flavors will be explored in this series. Students will participate in the chopping and peeling of ingredients and are encouraged to interact with questions during the class. Some of the class will also consist of observation of the instructor preparing the different soups. Note taking during the preparation is recommended as many aspects of creating the dish are discussed during cooking. Students will sample and dine on all the prepared dishes in class. The class Includes light beverages, cooking instruction, all supplies and groceries as well as recipes of the dishes prepared in class to take home and an lunch meal of three types of soups. Some soup will be available to take home as well to be enjoyed at a later date. This class is perfect to attend with a friend and enjoy an afternoon of cooking. $65.00 per person, includes meal of soups served with toasted bread, light beverages and recipes to take home.
