SATURDAY, August 16th 2025 – Baking Workshop: Working with Butter (Biscuits – Shortbreads – Rustic Tarts) – 10am to 2:00pm – 10 Students Max.

Join us on a fun Saturday and spend the day with Chef Michelle learning all about working with Butter. In this class students learn to make 3 types of doughs, all using butter as the main ingredient. The class will first make buttermilk biscuits as part of a Brunch bar for students to enjoy. After brunch we will move to learning about tart dough, from free forming a rustic tart to filling it with either a savory & a sweet filling of choice. Lastly, the class will learn working with butter to create crisp shortbread cookies. The chef guides students through making all three recipes from forming, filling & baking during the class. Each student will be working with their own dough to create three different recipes. A brunch will be served during class with complimentary coffee or beverage. $125.00 Per person, includes all ingredients and supplies for class; Chef led class instructions & recipes included. Techniques and cooking skills are learned will students execute recipes on their own. Questions are encouraged throughout the class with a question-and-answer period at the end of class during the final baking time. This class series is for students who are curious about baking & butter doughs and would like to improve their culinary skills.
