Beginning Bread Making – Yeast Breads; Savory & Sweet Filled

THURSDAY JUNE 22ND – Beginning Bread: Yeast Breads – HERB BREAD & SWEET FILLED YEAST BREADS – WORKING WITH BREAD –   12 Students Max.  1pm to 4pm 

Hands On Class – Vegetarian Friendly – Kids Welcome

Explore working with yeast & making bread from scratch.  Learn how to work with yeast dough’s in this class by learning how to combine ingredients, knead, rise and shape breads such as Baguettes, Braids and Filled breads.  Added to the class there will be an assortment of fresh herbs for students to use and savory and sweet fillings to fill their bread if desired.  In this hands-on class the chef will lead the class through all the ins & outs of bread making with tips, techniques and a thorough discussion of yeast.  Each student will work at their own station and work with their own dough. Rising time and working the dough will be discussed.  Each bread will be baked in class and students will go home with their finished baked breads.  Aprons are recommended as students will be working with substantial amounts of flour.  $65.00 per person, includes light beverages & snacks as well as all supplies, ingredients, chef lead cooking instruction and printed recipes.
