WEDNESDAY, December 6th – BREAD: BAKING SCONES – 1 PM TO 4 PM – 12 STUDENTS MAX
HANDS-ON CLASS – KID FRIENDLY – VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY
In this afternoon class learn to make the classic English treat; buttery, soft, scones. Each student will work with a butter dough learning to properly mix, knead, and form these tender breads with one-on-one instruction by the chef. Baking will also be part of this class and each student will be returning home with an assortment of baked items, so a container is recommended and/or a sheet pan to transport home. Students will work at individual stations and be provided all the necessary supplies, ingredients, groceries, and utensils needed to prepare the day’s recipes. Assorted flavors and toppings will be available to choose from to flavor your scones. $65.00 per person, includes printed recipes, supplies, ingredients, class instruction as well as tastings/samples in class and take-home baked items prepared in class. Aprons are recommended.
