Join us in this fun afternoon class learning how to make fresh pasta and fresh basil pesto sauce to go with it. Take an entire meal home to cook for your family that evening of all the items you learned from the day. In this hands on, interactive day class spend an afternoon with our head chef learning the art to making fresh pasta from scratch. Eggs, Four and Oil are the ingredients used in our recipe and we will then teach each student how to make fresh pesto using local basil from our friends at Autobarn Hydroponic Farms. (*Organic, Local and the best quality of basil on the market today). Each student makes enough pesto as the sauce for the pasta that they will take home to share with their family. The class will include instruction on making the pasta dough followed by forming an assortment of shapes. This class is a hands-on class in which students work with flour & egg, so aprons are recommended. The class will include tastings and snacks during the day as well as an beverage. Cooking class instruction from our chef and printed recipes are part of every class. $80.00 per person includes chef lead instruction, all supplies (*fresh local organic basil), all materials, and containers to take home for each student. Bread with oil will also be served during this class. This is a hands-on type of class perfect for all levels including children. *Pesto will contain nuts
