Hands On – Dessert Class – Kid Friendly – *Bring a 9 x 9 inch Deep Dish (Glass or Ceramic)
Come learn this Fat Tuscan Original Recipe for the creamy decadent Italian dessert known as Tiramisu. This class will cover the classic favorite Italian Dessert known as Tiramisu where each student will create a full dessert that serves 8/12 people to take home and enjoy later. Tiramisu uses layers of sweetened cream including mascarpone, which is an Italian type of whipped cream specifically for Tiramisu, layers of expresso dipped cookies and rich chocolate shavings for a perfect dessert that requires no baking. In this class all the ingredients for creating and layering an individual Tiramisu will be provided as well as an instruction on what makes the best types of cookies for layering as well as how to create the espresso syrup for soaking the cookies. *Please bring a Ceramic or glass square or rectangular dish that is about 9 inches by 9 inches and at least two inches deep OR an 8 to 9 inch spring form pan. Prepared dishes will be taken home to chill over night before serving. Recipe will serve 8/12 when completed. $65.00 per person, includes chef lead class instructions, all ingredients, tools and equipment as well as printed recipes for each student to take home. A tasting of Tiramisu will also be included in the class.
