Observation & Some Hands On
This afternoon class focuses on making a variety of soups from scratch using fresh ingredients and the Fall Hard squashes of the season. We will make soup stock, building flavors from the ground up as we create warm hearty types of soups & bisques. The chef prepares a total of three different soups. This class is a hands on type of class with chopping, peeling and sautéing in stations for each different soup. Note taking is recommended as some of the recipes may vary during class. Sampling and tasting of the prepared soups are eaten as part of the class. Also, some of the prepared soups may be available to go home with the students to enjoy later. This class is perfect for the person who loves soups and wants to get in-depth about creating fresh soups from scratch. $50.00 per person, includes all ingredients, supply’s, soups, recipes and cooking Class instruction.
