Observation & Some Hands On
This class is All about Soups, so if you are a soup lover it is perfect for you. With fall right around the corner and our abundant fall vegetables coming out in Florida, it is perfect opportunity to explore soup and soup making. Soups make a perfect tasty meal to prepare as well as an healthy option. In this class we will be making soups from scratch using fresh local market produce & ingredients, building flavors such as stocks and hard squash soup flavors. This class is mainly an observation type class with some chopping and peeling required by the students. At times, some recipes may be put into stations with instructions for students to produce the soup in full. Observation of instructor and note taking along with sampling & eating the prepared soups are part of the class. This class includes a beverage, cooking instruction, all supplies, and groceries as well as recipes of the dishes prepared in class to take home. Samples of the soups prepared may be eaten at the end of class or taken home to be enjoyed later. $50.00 per person, includes chef instruction, all supplies, materials, discussions and a full meal of an assortment of Soups.
