Sunday, August 27th 2023 – INTERMEDIATE BREAD CLASS – French Bread & Sour Dough Basics – 12 PM TO 3PM – 12 MAX. STUDENTS
Join us on this Sunday afternoon exploring bread making. In this fun, interactive cooking class students are lead through the basics of yeast doughs and how sour doughs are formed using yeast and the fermentation process. Each student will work at their own station to produce the tasks lead by the Chef instructor with a discussion period during rise times. Students will be producing their own breads from scratch. Aspects of rising times and the process of working the dough will be discussed as well as yeast basics. The class will be shaping and proofing their own doughs throughout the class. Each students bread will be baked at the end of the class and students will go home their breads from class to enjoy. Sour dough starters may be produced to use at a later date as well. Aprons are recommended for this class as each student will be working with his or own dough with substantial amounts of flour. $65.00 per person, includes light beverages & snacks during class, chef lead cooking instruction, supplies and ingredients and take home printed recipes.
