Join Chef Tracy Faircloth for this exclusive class focused on the fundamentals of meal preparation and healthy cooking. This hands-on workshop is designed to help students learn practical techniques for preparing fresh, from-scratch meals that are both nutritious and convenient for busy schedules. This class is perfect for college students heading into their fall semester who want to learn how to balance school & lifestyle, or busy individuals who want easy & fun recipes to prepare for their week ahead of them. In this fun, interactive cooking class, students will work at their own stations while being guided step-by-step by the Chef instructor through a variety of versatile meal prep recipes and techniques.

Students will prepare breakfast egg cups, homemade granola, fresh Mediterranean-style grain bowls, and homemade tzatziki sauce. During class, Chef Tracy will also demonstrate the preparation of a savory hummus spread, and each student will take home a container to enjoy later. Throughout the workshop, discussion periods will cover meal planning strategies, protein options, nutrition facts, and simple homemade dry rubs and all-purpose seasonings that can be used to customize meals at home.


A variety of fresh herbs, vegetables, cheeses, legumes, and grain bases will be available, allowing students to personalize their dishes while learning how to build balanced, flavorful meals. Each student will leave with enough prepared food to enjoy for approximately 3 days, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue meal prepping at home.

Aprons are recommended for this class as students will be actively preparing and assembling multiple recipes throughout the workshop. $150.00 per person. Pricing includes all materials needed, reusable take-home meal prep containers, light beverages and snacks during class, chef-led cooking instruction, supplies and ingredients, and take-home printed recipes.
