WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21st – Italian Holiday Breads – 3:30pm to 6:00pm – 12 Students Max.
Bisciola is an easy yeasted bread, Italian in nature with nuts, figs and more that is wonderful toasted with
butter for breakfast or eaten as an anytime snack. In this cooking class day workshop students will be working with a yeast dough recipe to create and shape a traditional Italian Holiday Bread. Each student will be working with their own dough at individual stations. An assortment of fillings and toppings will be available for students to choose from to put into their breads. Printed recipes will be given to each student and a discussion on techniques and instructions for the dough and forming the dough will be given. This class is a hands-on class and each student will be handling and making their own dough’s, aprons are recommended. Samples of desserts will be eaten in class and each student will be going home with an bread to bake at home. *options to bake at class will
be given but requires an additional 30/45 min. time frame to bake. Please bring a sheet pan to rise your breads on and/or for baking. **Kids welcome. ($55.00/ Per Person includes all supplies, class instruction, tastings and recipes to take home.)
