Tuesday, February 21, 2023 – BREAD MAKING – Making Focaccia Bread – 5:30PM to 8:30PM – 12

In this afternoon class students will learn how to make the Classic Italian flat bread know as
Focaccia Bread. Focaccia is an Olive Oil laden style bread that is eaten on its own, split in half
for sandwiches or as thick pizza crust. In this class, students will learn to create their own
dough using flour, yeast and olive oil creating a type of wet yeast dough. Rising times, shaping
and baking will be included in the class. Students will also have choices on flavorings such as
herbs or sweet toppings to create a savory or sweet style bread of choice. Class will include all
ingredients, supplies and class instruction by the chef including printed recipes for each
student. Students are recommended to bring a ¼ Sheet pan or a baking pan with a slight lip to
rise and bake the flat bread. ($55.00 per Person, includes groceries, supplies, bread tastings,
chef lead class instruction.) *Aprons recommended. *Kids Welcome.
