Sunday, August 30th, 2026 – Lasagna & Sauce: MAKING LASAGNA (Take Home Full Lasagna Feeds 6 – 8) – 1pm to 4pm – 14 STUDENTS MAX

HANDS ON CLASS – VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY – TAKE HOME AND BAKE OR FREEZE

Join us in learning to make Lasagna, or Pasta al Forno as we call it in Italian.  This is the perfect class to prepare a meal for the week ahead of you or take home to freeze to use for a quick dinner in the future. In this hands-on class students learn about different sauces such as basil marinara, ragu & bechamel sauces.  These sauces will then be used to build the best gourmet lasagna ever – it’s all about the ingredients! A full fillings list of assorted items to layer into the lasagna will also be available for each student such as assorted cheeses, assorted meats, sauteed/grilled vegetables and fresh vegetables and more. All the sauces will be made in class to be used to construct a full lasagna for each student to take home.  Students will learn tips on how to assemble their own lasagna for consumption later. Each student will go home with a lasagna to cook/freeze that will feed up 6 to 8 adults.  Students will learn tips on how to assemble their own lasagna for consumption later.  All fillings ingredients will be provided from vegetarian to meat options.  *Students need to bring a 9 x 13 rectangular lasagna baking dish, (we recommend glass or ceramic).  Please note it is okay if your dish is an alternate size but the quantity of ingredients provided is based on a recipe using a 9 x 13 size dish.   A house made lasagna will be made in advance that will be served to the class for a tasting. Aprons are recommended. $95.00 per person includes all supplies to create and make a 9×13 lasagna in class to take home for each student, class instruction, light snacks and take home recipes.
