This class will be a night of making soups from scratch, using fresh ingredients and building flavors as we create 3 different types of soups from creamy bisques to warm hearty stews to some light summer soups. A small wine tasting will be paired with each soup presented as a compliment to the soups. A total of three soups will be prepared and eaten in class served with our toasted Tuscan Bread. This class will consist of some chopping and peeling and/or working at group stations to create the different soups for this class. Some of the class will also be observation as the instructor finishes the soups and lectures on how to properly season and finish before serving. Note taking and sampling/eating all prepared dishes will be a main part of this class from students. This class is perfect for the person who loves soups and wants more recipes and suggestions for creating soups at home. Recipes of dishes will be available to all students. Includes a dinner of several different types of soups served with toasted bread and paired with a sample of wine for each soup. ($50.00 per person, includes all groceries, supplies, class instruction & printed recipes to take home as well as a full evening meal.)
