Hands On Class – Kids Welcome *BRING A BAKING DISH
Join us for a class on learning to make PIES! Each student will learn to make pie dough from scratch and fill it with an assortment of fillings such as apple, custards, fruit fillings, etc. This is a perfect class to take if you want to explore making butter dough pie crusts. Lattice work will also be discussed and students will be encouraged to work on decorating their pies in class. *Each student MUST bring one 8” or 9” inch GLASS PIE PANS & a Cookie Sheet to transport Hot Pie’s home. Pies can be taken home to be baked later or we can bake in class. (Please ADD a minimum of 45 minutes from end of class time for baking time.) Aprons are recommended as this is a hands-on class and you will be working with flour. $55.00 per person, includes all groceries, supplies, class instruction & printed recipes. Snacks will also be provided as well as some tastings during this class.
